Welcome to my Philippines
Home, where it all began.
It’s has been 5 years since I came home, I should
How to describe my country in one word? And that word is family!
If you want to know more about my stories since I came home you must check out my podcast episode.
What I do like to cover on this blog post is of course things I’ve missed when I was away for so long.
WHAT HAVE I MISSED?
There are always three things in my mind that reminds me of why I love the Philippines:
- Food.
- Sights to see.
- History.
Food – Chicken adobo is one of the most popular dishes that you would probably think of when it comes to Filipino dishes. There is a thousand more type of dishes that the Philippines has to offer. My favorite dishes that I enjoy almost every day are giniling, and halo-halo.

Sights to see – the Philippines is known for marvelous structures man-made and by nature’s design, there are countless places to visit from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Some of which are cultural structures that stood the test of time. Do check out the old diplomat hotel here in Baguio.
History – I guess you've figured by now I love history and just like India, the history of this country is powerful, the country may be the youngest to gain its freedom unlike India, England, or even America which were developed a long time ago. The Philippines had a fair share of glory days, ups and downs, and developmental days.
Conclusion
The mystery of my hometown is far more interesting as I press on my journey discover what my city, province, and nation have to offer.
This life would be an amazing journey.
