Don't follow your passion

We've all heard one of our friends say the same thing over and over again.
Dude just forget about the money, follow your passion first and the money will come later.
Don't get me wrong it is good to have something to do look forward to when it comes to being passionate but we have to be more realistic with our goals and dreams.
In our living time, we need money to survive.
It doesn't mean that we can't stop ourselves from doing what we love right?
Right, but we have to understand that we need something reliable to help us work to build on our craft like a job or a business.
This is when reality hits us.
Don't be discouraged if you think I'm talking trash about your passion.
I am saying there is an alternative to it.

Here are some alternative ways to make a living with your passion:
- Get a job and start saving 10% of your salary.
- Build a business out of your passion.
- Attend webinars related to your business venture.
- Read books on your favorite authors.
- Network with small businesses.
Once you've started this then you are on the track in achieving what you have always wanted to achieve especially in your field.
Conclusion
Before you become passionate about something.
Ask yourself this one question.
Is this going to help me survive in the long run?
If your answer is yes, then, by all means, go ahead.
If your answer is no, then try using your time to earn to make a living and just do it (passion) for fun.
Aside from that, you'll be alright. Share your thoughts in the comments below...
