Modern education is dead

Disclaimer: This an opinionated blog post do not take this personally.

It was Albert Einstein who famously said;

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Coming from a point of view looking back at what education has given me. I've always had a tough time coping with everyone else. 

It is not that I've always compared myself to another one's own ability to understand and learn.

It has been always been tough no matter how much I put in my efforts to reach the same level of understanding as others each semester or each year level.

Has this happened to you too?

Understandably, EDUCATION is important but the means to attain education is more like riding a broken car for 50 years or more.

Times have changed so has technology.

Why can't modern education do the same thing?

Before we talk about the bad things behind modern education let's talk about the benefits we gained from it;

• We learn to communicate with each other.
• We develop our social circles.
• Passions are built from being educated on one particular topic, even taking it into a profession someday.
• Coming from a prestigious school or college gives you a brand of excellent morals to carry along.

But the unfortunate continuation of modern education has damaged the majority of those who cope up with it;

• As mentioned above coping up with others who are far more advanced in one's particular topic. 
• Grading systems fulfill what exactly? Learning for a particular grading system, not for the value of learning.
• Practical application of certain topic that means nothing to another person's interest.
• Forcing people with different levels of thinking, to think like one.
• Leveling up by force not by learning

Modern education needs to change

We need an upgrade just like our smartphones and everything else around us we need change.

Personally, I feel bad I never got to enjoy learning because I was forced to learn for a particular grade for me to move to the next level.

I hope you do understand that there is a majority of us who find learning tough we need an alternative if not we will create a generation that will look back at their own education as a complete waste of time.
